Role: Company admins
Scope: Company portal
Purpose
Centralize company-level configuration after onboarding.
Who this is for
Company admins handling governance, integrations, and support operations.
Prerequisites
- Company onboarding is completed.
- You have admin access in the Company portal.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Open Settings and select the needed tab
Available tabs vary by environment and feature flags. Common tab groups include:
- Company and billing setup
- Employee setup and restrictions
- Corporate giving / employee gifting settings
- Mastercard and integration-related setup
- Legal and help center
2. Update configuration in focused sections
Typical updates include budget/cadence changes, role/invitation adjustments, and payment setup maintenance.
Billing plans & subscriptions
- View your current billing plan and billing contact from the Billing Plan tab in Settings.
- Company admins can review available billing plans and the company-level billing configuration.
- Billing subscriptions (the recurring billing agreement for a company) are created and managed by platform administrators via the Admin portal. If your company needs a subscription created or updated, contact your platform admin or support.
- When a subscription is created or an invoice is generated you can download the PDF invoice from Payments → Invoices. Subscription changes may trigger email notifications to billing contacts.
- If a promo code is assigned to your company subscription, Billing Plan shows promo start date, end date, and whether the promo is expired.
- Promo discount is only applied to generated invoices while the promo is active in UTC (within start/end date window).
3. Save and validate changes
After saving, verify dependent pages (Employees, Voting Periods, Payments) reflect updates.
4. Use legal and support sections when needed
- Legal and Data opens policy links (privacy policy, DPA, terms).
- Help tab sends platform questions to support workflow.
What users should expect
- Settings tabs can differ depending on company mode and feature flags.
- Certain payment changes trigger follow-up email actions for signatories/contacts.
Common issues and troubleshooting
- A tab is missing: verify your company mode/feature-flag configuration.
- Saved changes not visible immediately: refresh and verify in the corresponding operational page.
- Ongoing payment issues: check Mastercard status from both Settings and Payments.
Verify success
- Saved configuration updates are visible in corresponding operational pages.
- Legal/help and integration tabs open expected workflows for your role.
