Purpose
Populate your employee base so invitations, voting, and participation tracking can start.
Who this is for
Company admins and HR/payroll owners during onboarding or later setup updates.
Prerequisites
- Company registration is completed.
- You know which source of truth your organization uses for employee data.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Choose an employee source
Available setup patterns:
- Payroll connection (for supported payroll integrations)
- CSV import
- Entra ID flow (availability depends on your environment)
2. If using payroll connection
- Connect directly if you have payroll credentials.
- Or request connection from a payroll owner via the request flow.
3. If using CSV import
Download the template, prepare employee rows, and upload the file.
4. Validate imported employees
Check the employee list after setup to confirm records and statuses.
What users should expect
- Employee records drive invitations and voting participation metrics.
- You can update employee data later from Employee and Settings areas.
Common issues and troubleshooting
- Missing employees after import: verify template format and required fields.
- Payroll connection blocked: request connection from the payroll contact owner.
- Mixed-source confusion: align one primary source before large updates.
Verify success
- Employee rows are visible in Employee Management with expected statuses.
- You can complete onboarding or operations using the selected employee source.
