Voting Periods Management

Purpose

Plan and operate period-based voting and gifting execution for your company.

Who this is for

Company admins coordinating campaign funding windows and employee voting timelines.

Prerequisites

  • Corporate giving settings are configured.
  • At least one upcoming period is available, or period creation is enabled for your company.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open Voting Periods

Go to Company -> Voting Periods.

2. Work in the correct tab

  • Company tab: regular company voting periods.
  • Individual tab: individual gifting periods (when used by your company).

3. Manage company periods

From table actions you can:

  • Create upcoming periods
  • Update or delete pending periods
  • Start next pending period
  • Boost active or pending period amount
  • Complete active period early

4. Manage individual gifting periods

Depending on status, you can pause, resume, cancel, or resend period email notifications.

Supported individual gifting period types:

5. Open period details and settings

Use details actions for active/completed context and use the settings shortcut for cadence configuration.

What users should expect

  • Starting a period can trigger employee voting emails.
  • Completing a period progresses donation/payment workflows for downstream processing.
  • Action availability depends on period status.

Common issues and troubleshooting

  • Cannot start pending period: an active period may already exist.
  • Resume action disabled near end date: period timing guardrails are enforced.
  • Filters hide expected rows: reset status/type filters and search terms.

Verify success

  • Period actions are available according to status and complete without system errors.
  • Starting or completing a period produces expected downstream behavior in employee and payment flows.
