Purpose

Introduce the onboarding sequence and help admins understand which setup decisions are required.

Who this is for

Company admins setting up a new organization in the Company portal.

Prerequisites

  • You can sign in to the Company portal.
  • Your company profile has not completed onboarding yet.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Review the onboarding checklist

Use the stepper to confirm which steps are required for your company configuration.

2. Confirm your setup path

Depending on feature flag configuration, onboarding can include either:

  • Corporate-giving-focused flow (welcome, company info, giving mode, employee setup, Mastercard, summary), or
  • Extended flow (campaign topics, contribution model, finance system, and invite steps).

3. Set language if needed

Switch language before continuing if your onboarding team works in Danish.

4. Continue to company registration

Move to the next step when your team is ready to enter organization details.

What users should expect

  • The stepper can lock or unlock later steps based on earlier choices.
  • You can navigate back to completed steps before final completion.

Common issues and troubleshooting

  • Missing steps compared to another company: this is typically feature-flag or setup-mode dependent.
  • Cannot continue to next step: required fields in the current step are incomplete.

Verify success

  • You can see the onboarding sequence that applies to your company.
  • You can continue from Welcome to Company Registration without validation errors.
