Purpose

Run day-to-day employee administration for both payroll and corporate-giving workflows.

Who this is for

Company admins responsible for employee access and participation operations.

Prerequisites

  • Onboarding is complete.
  • Employees have been added through payroll, CSV, or other configured setup flow.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open Employees

Go to Company -> Employees.

2. Filter and locate employees

Use search, status filters, and (when available) office/department filters.

3. Review top-level employee statistics

Use the KPI cards above the table to monitor:

  • Total employees
  • Active employees
  • Active admins
  • Inactive/deactivated employees
  • Voted (current/latest period) - shown only in corporate-giving mode when an active period exists or a completed period is available

Use the ? icon on each card to view a metric-specific definition.

4. Review employee activity

Check each row for status, supported causes/campaigns, votes, and participation counters.

5. Apply admin actions

Depending on employee and mode, you can:

  • Promote or demote admin rights
  • Deactivate or reactivate employee access
  • Resend voting link during active periods
  • Open individual-period context from voting-related actions

6. Keep employee source aligned

If your company uses CSV or integration-driven updates, confirm records after each sync/update.

What users should expect

  • Available row actions vary by employee role, status, and company giving mode.
  • Corporate-giving views emphasize votes/period participation; payroll views include wallet fields.
  • The voted KPI card appears only when a valid active/latest voting period exists for corporate giving.
  • KPI cards follow the same active search/filter context as the table and are not affected by pagination.

Common issues and troubleshooting

  • Missing action buttons: current user role or employee state may limit allowed actions.
  • Employee does not receive voting link: verify active period exists and employee is not deactivated.
  • Filter results look incomplete: reset filters and search to reload full list.

Verify success

  • Employee filters, statuses, and row-level actions reflect current role permissions.
  • Recent employee updates are visible after refresh or sync completion.
