NGO Campaigns

Role: NGO admins
Scope: NGO portal

Purpose

Cover the full campaign lifecycle: list, create, edit, details, donations, and archive/activate actions.

Who this is for

NGO admins responsible for campaign management and campaign content quality.

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in to the NGO portal.
  • Your admin account is assigned to one NGO profile.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open Campaigns list

Use Campaigns to view active and archived campaign tabs with search/filter options.

2. Create a campaign

Open Create, complete campaign fields, upload thumbnail/images, select topics, and save.

3. Edit an existing campaign

Open a campaign, choose Edit, update fields/media, then save.

4. Use campaign detail tabs

Inside a campaign you can navigate:

  • Details: campaign presentation data
  • Donations: donation row details for that campaign
  • Reports: currently placeholder/coming-soon area

5. Archive or activate campaign

From campaign actions, archive active campaigns or activate archived campaigns.

What users should expect

  • Active/archived state controls campaign availability in employee-facing voting flows.
  • Donation tab shows campaign-level donor and amount details when available.
  • Draft-like campaign form state may persist briefly during ongoing create/edit sessions.

Common issues and troubleshooting

  • Cannot find campaign after state change: switch between active and archived tabs.
  • Save fails after media edits: verify thumbnail/images are uploaded before submission.
  • Reports tab appears empty: this section is not yet functionally populated.

Known limitations

  • The Reports tab is currently a placeholder and does not provide operational reporting content.

Verify success

  • Newly created or updated campaigns appear in the correct active/archived tab.
  • Donation tab and campaign status changes reflect expected lifecycle behavior.
