Charitable Causes

In this page you'll get an overview of all of the charitable causes that you can vote for. The page can be accessed as a guest or as an employee.

Banner

If there is an active voting period the banner at the top of the screen will notify you what date the voting closes, if there isn't one then it shows you the date of when the next voting period starts. If there is no active period, no upcoming voting periods, or the page was accessed in guest mode then the banner won't be displayed at all.

Charitable cause grid

All of the available charitable causes are displayed in a grid on this page in cards that display their name, short description, and thumbnail.

If there is an active voting period then a heart also gets revealed in the bottom right of the card, clicking this casts one of your votes for the selected cause. If all of your available votes are already cast and you choose to cast another vote you will be redirected to the My Votes page where the cause you just voted for will be displayed as pending.

For better transparency and visibility all of the causes that you have voted for will always be displayed at the top of the grid with a soft red boarder and a filled in heart.

Charitable cause info

Each card can be clicked to navigate to a page where more details about the given charitable cause are given. In this page you will be able to find:

• The name, short description, and thumbnail of the given cause
• Additional images attached to the cause
• Information about the NGO managing the cause such as it's name, thumbnail, as well as the duration of the charitable cause
• The full description of the given cause
